Freelance photographer for magazines and print media,
industry and business firms

Numerous personal travels throughout Europe, the Americas,
and Asia;
work on long-term and occasionally experimental themes,
usually regarding people and environment

Personal studio experience was as important as studies
of ancient cultures –
especially those of China, Japan, Thailand, India, and Mexico

From 1977 to 1990

Course and workshop instructor for U.S. students at
Salzburg College,Austria

From 1985 to 2003

Numerous workshops and lectures, supported by
the Goethe Institute, in China, Thailand, India and Bangladesh

From 1997 to 2007

Instructor of photojournalism and portrait photography
at the Munich College of Photography

From 1966 to 2011

Worldwide, more than thirty solo exhibitions, as well as
participation in dozens of group exhibitions. Images published
in numerous magazines, catalogs, books and calendars.
Recently, more and more of his photographs have
found their way into auction catalogs.
